SCL Announces the Availability of Affinium NetInsight Version 7.4

Affinium NetInsight 7.4 delivers unique self-service capabilities that allow marketers throughout the enterprise to perform in-depth analysis of website visitor behaviour. Enterprises seeking to increase company-wide adoption of web analytics have turned to Affinium NetInsight for its ability to adapt to any user's needs through a role-based and intuitive user interface that enables powerful, deep-dive analysis.

NetInsight's role-based flexibility has been extended in the latest release, enabling users to access both sampled and full data set reporting modes. Using sample reporting mode, business users can streamline exploratory ad-hoc analysis and custom reporting for a quick view of trends, success indicators, and visitor behaviour. 

What's New in Affinium NetInsight 7.4

• Sample and full data set reporting modes: Using sample reporting mode, business users can streamline exploratory ad-hoc analysis. Still, at any time, authorised business users can toggle reports from sampled to full data mode in order to maximise the accuracy of calculations.
• Page tagging enhancements: The page tagging script has been modified to more easily assign a cookie for visitor identification. This cookie and other cookies assigned by the site being analysed can now be included in page tag requests so that they may be used by NetInsight for sessionisation and parameter analysis.
• Enhancements to dashboards: Dashboards can easily be customised to display both graphical and text-based information.
• Portal dashboard URL export: A new export method is available allowing users to construct a URL that can be used to generate report as a dashboard section. This URL can than be used to include this NetInsight dashboard content in an external application or portal.
• City level geographic visualisation: A new city level visualisation is available that represents cities as bubbles on the map.
• Zoom and pan within geographic visualisations: Map visualisations are now more interactive allowing users to zoom and pan within the map.
  
• Query optimisations: A number of query optimisations were included in this release to further enhance performance.

Important Notes About NetInsight 7.4

• An automated upgrade process is available for NetInsight 7.1, 7.2, or 7.3 users upgrading to NetInsight 7.4.
• An updated version of the Geographic data conduit database is also available. These updates support the new geographic reporting functionality in NetInsight 7.4 and also include updates and revisions to the underlying geographic data.
• At the time of release, NetInsight 7.4 is only available in English. Language packs for NetInsight 7.4 are expected to be completed in the months following the release and users will be notified when they become available.
• Changes have been made to the list of recommended platforms for NetInsight 7.4. Please consult the attached Affinium NetInsight 7.4 Recommended Software Environments and Minimum System Requirements document for more information.
