3. Web site Performance Modules

a. Download Times

b. Page Name and Query String Transformation Management
Sometimes it is essential to remove query string elements from unique pages that should not be unique e.g. a userid or cache buster. There are two sources for query strings which often need to be treated differently:

  • Website being logged
  • External referring websites

c. Page Renaming with HTML Tags or Clickstream Tags
Using the contents of the title bar of a web page as a supplement to, or a replacement for the URL. Use html tags or titles.

d. Fully Configurable Query Strings
The ability to parse query strings to decide which bits are kept as part of the URL and which bits are discarded as meaningless.

4. Outputs and Formats Modules

a. The Output Configuration Library (existing data feed formats for different web analytics software suites)
Pre-prepared formats include: .csv single file, Apache logfiles, IIS logfiles, NCSA ELF (Most common Web Analytics format; Datasherpa also includes cached pages in the extended version without changes to the load procedures),

b. ABCE Column Format (Multiple CSVs)

c. Fully Flexible Data Formatting Output Module
Permits data delivery to any tool whether web analytics, business intelligence, warehousing solutions etc.
